You can preview your website live while you work. Clicking the “Preview” button on the toolbar opens a preview popup, where you can choose one or more browsers to view your site.

Clicking the “Open Live Preview” button launches the preview service in the selected browsers. The content updates in real-time as you edit the site. Depending on your workflow and screen setup, you can choose to keep the live preview visible alongside the Sparkle window or on a second screen.

Sparkle supports live preview in Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Brave, and Edge. If you enable sharing the preview with other devices on the local network, you can also use live preview on iOS devices, for example. The QR Code provides a quick way to open the preview.

The preview feature even works offline, except for elements sourced from the web (videos, social media, third-party code integrations, etc.).

If your document includes multiple device layouts, setting "Current device" displays the current layout regardless of the actual device or browser window width. Setting "All devices" in live preview will show the appropriate layout for each device, allowing you to see different layouts for different devices. However, this may lead to editing elements that are not visible in the preview browser.

If your document uses a dark color theme, selecting “Canvas Color Theme” will display the active color theme regardless of the system. Choosing “System Color Theme” will show a site that switches its theme according to the current system theme.

If the site includes a privacy page and banner, you can choose to display the cookie banner every time a preview page is shown or never show it.
